More than 100 local children will be able to see an AFL match thanks to Rotary and Kerang Toyota.
The first group of 60 children enjoyed the Melbourne vs North Melbourne game at the MCG on the 27th July. A further 60 will travel to Melbourne on August 3rd to see the St Kilda vs Port Adelaide game.
The tickets were donated by the combined Rotary Clubs of Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland and Portland Bay. The clubs have also covered the cost for the bus trips to Melboune.
The idea came about by the Rotary Clubs wishing to help children and their families in drought-affected areas.
